We are proud to share that Professor Anne Osbourn has been named on the Clarivate Highly Cited Researchers 2025 list, recognising researchers whose work is ranked among the top 1% by citations in their field over the past decade. This acknowledgement reflects the deep impact of her research and the strength of the science that underpins our company.

Anne’s work at the John Innes Centre uncovered that the biosynthetic pathways for complex plant natural products are organised in gene clusters within plant genomes. That discovery laid the scientific foundation for what we do today.

At HotHouse Therapeutics we build on that insight through our two platforms, BotanAI and BotanBIO. Together they enable us to design, engineer and produce novel molecules using plants as sustainable biofactories. Anne’s recognition highlights the kind of world-class science that sits at the heart of HotHouse Therapeutics. It serves as a reminder of why our work matters and why our approach has the potential to transform the way medicines are developed.
