This week, HotHouse Therapeutics joined the World Vaccine Congress Europe 2025 in Amsterdam, bringing our mission front and centre into the heart of the vaccine community.

The event, held October 13-16 at RAI Amsterdam, covered the full vaccine value chain – from early R&D to large-scale manufacturing.

Our reflections & focus

For HotHouse Therapeutics CEO David Sheppard, this year’s WVC Europe was a reminder of just how resilient and forward-thinking the vaccine community has become.  He said:

 “After seeing the US event earlier in the year focused on protecting progress against misinformation, Europe showed what’s possible when collaboration, optimism, and innovation lead the way.”

Across panels and discussions, Dave noted there was a strong shared belief that “early-stage innovation is where the next big breakthroughs will come from” – and that now is the time to back it. Rather than slowing down, scientists and biotech leaders are finding new ways to accelerate discovery, optimise resources, and deliver impact faster.
